Mozilla team released Firefox version 3.0.5 today.
This release fixes several security vulnerabilities, adds more languages (Bengali, Esperanto, Galicia, Hindi, and Latvian) and no longer includes eula during installation.

Presto 2.2 Engine
Opera 10.0 Alpha 1 includes Presto 2.2 (Kestrel includes Presto 2.1.1), an updated version of Opera’s Core. Presto 2.2 features numerous new features and loads of bug fixes, such as:

New regular expression engine, which greatly improves performance

Auto-update
The long awaited auto-update functionality is here! That’s right, Opera will now update itself as new versions are released. And for those of you who want every single snapshot release just enable the “Download All Snapshots” setting (opera:config#AutoUpdate). Please be aware that if you do so, you will be upgrading to all snapshots - and as you know: snapshots contain the latest changes, but may also have severe known issues, including crashes and data loss situations. In fact, they may not work at all. You have been warned
Inline Spelling Checker
Opera now checks your spelling as you write! The inline spelling checker is enabled by default for multi-line edit fields and this Alpha comes with a US English dictionary. Use the context menu of input fields to change the settings, and to correct spelling errors. See the detailed changelog for information about using other dictionaries.
Opera Mail Improvements
Rich Text Composition
Opera Mail can now send rich text messages! You can insert inlined images, styled text, links, custom HTML, and more! You can also forward and redirect rich text messages or reply to them with styled text.
In the account settings select “Prefer HTML formatting” in the outgoing tab so that you can start writing rich text mails by default in our WYSIWYG editor!
Remove from server after X days (POP-only)
This new feature is for our POP users with limited server space. Opera Mail can now remove messages from the server that have been there for X days. Of course you can limit Opera Mail to only remove read messages from the server, and/or only fully downloaded messages, which works great in combination with low-bandwith mode.
Other Changes
When viewing a message, the message subjects are now a text field again instead of a button. We have added also a “Thread” button to the message list toolbar to make some features more visible.
Widget Improvements on Linux/UNIX
We have added experimental support for true transparency for widgets on Linux/UNIX. For this to work you have to have an X Server that provides a 32-bit visual device and a running composite manager. If you start Opera from a terminal it will print this message if it detects a suitable 32-bit visual device: “(experimental) ARGB visual detected: Use ‘-visual 0×6f’ to activate it”.
If you have a composite manager running you can then try it out by starting Opera with: “opera -visual 0×6f” (0×6f may be another number on your machine).

If you receive this error message “windows cannot format this drive. Quit any disk utilities or programs that may be using this drive, and close any open windows with the drive contents showing”, try the following solution.
Step 1: install Unlocker.
Step 2: After installation, right click on the drive you are going to format, and then click “Unlocker” on the menu.
Step 3: A list of processes will be shown. Simply click on Unlock All.
You should be able to format your disk drive by now.

Safari browser for Leopard, Tiger, and Windows has been updated to version 3.2.1. This update comes only 12 days after 3.2 was released.
Changelog
The only note about the changes is “This update includes stability improvements and is recommended for all Safari users.”
You can download Safari 3.2.1 for OS X using the built-in auto-update mechanism, by running the Apple Software Update tool in Windows or simply download it from Apple’s site.

Failed Hash Check
When you get a hash Check failed on a bittorrent client, it means someone has sent you a corrupted or altered piece of data. Torrent clients like uTorrent, Bitcomet will perform hash check on every piece of data that is uploaded from seeders or leechers to your computer. If that piece of data is mismatched, hash check failed occurs.
Do not worry, your torrent client will stop the changed data from being saved to your harddisk. The piece of data will be downloaded again. Therefore, you do not need to restart your torrent or do anything. If you get several failed hash check from the same ip address, it is likely your torrent client will ban that particular ip address to prevent bandwidth and time wasting. Utorrent will ban the ip address that failed 3 hash checks.

You can get file hash information easily by installing HashTab. The Hash algorithms supported are MD5, SHA1 and CRC-32.

A windows shell extension which installs a new tab with file hash information
HashTab is a Windows shell extension which adds a tab called “File Hashes” to the Windows Explorer file properties.
HashTab will allow you to see file hash information.
The tab contains the MD5, SHA1 and CRC-32 file hashes. These are common hashes that are used to verify the integrity and authenticity of files. Many download sites list the MD5 hash along with the download link.
The HashTab makes it very simple for Windows users to check these hashes on any file on the system without using external tools.

HashTab installs a new tab with file hash information and allows you to perform hash comparisons.
What’s new in HashTab 2.1.0:
· Added drag and drop support for comparing files. Once the hash has completed, files can be dragged onto the HashTab. The dropped file will be hashed using the selected hash algorithm and the result is put in the text box and compared. This will make hash comparisons a little easier in some cases.
· Updated translations for German, Japanese, Italian, French.
· Fixed hash settings listbox layout
· Added a “copy all” menu item to copy all hash data to clipboard
· Fixed a problem where you had to hash a file in order to change settings
· Added French translation
· By popular demand, added support for MD2 and MD4 hashes.
